> Does anyone know of any serious scholarly study of the Seinfeld show? > Or any decent articles in the non-scholarly media. Please forgive the SHAMELESS plug of my own work. My article "Plotting a TV Show about Nothing: Patterns of Narration in _Seinfeld_" appears in the latest edition of _Creative Screenwriting_ (Fall 1995, V. 2, No. 3). It's written for an mixed audience of scholars and industry professionals, so the style is fairly accessible (i.e., suitable for undergrads), though I hope the ideas in it still count as "serious scholarly study."
