My article "Plotting a TV Show about Nothing:  Patterns of Narration in
_Seinfeld_"  appears in the latest edition of _Creative Screenwriting_
(Fall 1995, V. 2, No. 3).
 
It's written for an mixed audience of scholars and industry professionals,
so the style is fairly accessible (i.e., suitable for undergrads), though
I hope the ideas in it still count as "serious scholarly study."
