I'm puzzled.  According to the information cited about the colorization
of FEDERAL HILL, it sounds like theatrical prints of the film are being
colorized, yet I thought that colorization as such only applied to *video*
copies of the original film.  One of Turner's arguments for colorization
was that in striking new quality b&W prints for the films he colorized, he
was actually engaging in film preservation.
 
Does this mean that FEDERAL HILL is being re-processed back on to film
stock from video?  That would suggest a loss of image quality as bad or
worse than anything that colorization itself might do.  Or is there new
 technology I'm unware of?
