We MUST keep each other informed and on top of this debate if we want to see more series such as THE AMERICAN CINEMA, BUSTER KEATON: A HARD ACT TO FOLLOW, and the HOLLYWOOD series from a few years ago. This IS a film/television issue and I for one do not want to see it swept under the rug because someone's political feelings got hurt. I have seen similar debates on other listservers. Yes, AMC, TNT, etc. continue to provide excellent choices for movies, but PBS brings us the really great series which disect our movie history, show us where we've been, and where we're going.
