While Zettl and Utz say "Standard," I've found many more secondary sources that say "System" (or "Systems"). More importantly, however, something that comes about as close as one can get to a primary source in this matter, the SMPTE JOURNAL, says "System" in an article reprinted in the NAB ENGINEERING HANDBOOK (7th Edition, p. 7.1-52). I would also consider the NAB itself as a more credible source than some of the textbook authors. Joe Chuk ******************************************************************************* JOSEPH R.
