Seems that an undercover Cincinnati vice squadder rented a videotape of Pier Paolo Pasolini's "Salo: 120 Days of Sodom." As part of their campaign, NCAC is "recruiting museums, film societies, scholars, critics, and directors, to join in a friend-of-the-court brief about the literary, artistic, and political value of the film," in support of a motion to dismiss. I have not seen the film and do not know the current status of the case (the form mailing has a September date); however, some on this list might qualify as expert witnesses or wish to join in the brief or whatever.
