I've enjoyed reading the list of tv and film-connected tourist sites. Too bad the list is coming out at the end of the summer instead of in the beginning. One tourist site that hasn't been mentioned, and that nicely collapses the two prongs of the issue--the point that Pam Wilson originally raised about localities benefitting from exposure in a film or TV show, and the one that Jeremy mentioned of a site that was famous before its use in a film--is the Dakota apartment building in New York City (72 ST. and Central Park West). The building was, of course, the site of John Lennon's murder in 1980, but it was also used before that as the setting for ROSEMARY'S BABY. Cheers, Sandy
