>>>>>>>>> There is *barely* a story there, and the director's lack of interest is clear from the way the couple's romantic difficulties appear and disappear without any resolution (about halfway through the film). ########################################### I have to beg to differ. The style of film making that Stone does shows that he pays attention to everything that he places on the screen. This isn't suppose to be "Oliver Stone does Basic Instinct"! I thank God that Hollywood has at least one American director who tries to do something different with the medium of film. So many of the Hollywood hacks seem to making movies in the boring paint-by-numbers style. We need more directors like Stone. NBK shows us what the medium is really for,not showing us a Harrier blow up half of downtown Miami, or a idiot meet the President. Jeff ([log in to unmask])
