"Asian Cinema:  Poetics and Politics"
 
The OU Film Conference will devote its theme to the rethinking of Asian
Cinema. Scholars are invited to examine textual as well as extra-textual
conditions of all cinemas of Asia and the Pacific Rim.  Papers and panels
on previously neglected areas are particularly welcome.
