Media Writing This year, the conference is soliciting media writing (treatments, documentary proposals, sections of screen- plays) for formal presentation and response. Submit writ- ten material (up to ten pages) to the conference director. ______________________________________ Student Participation As always, students are invited to submit and participate in all aspects of the conference. In addition, we would like to encourage students to organize and participate in panels, screenings and/or by holding caucuses of their own. The conference planning committee encourages partici- pants to submit papers and formal responses to screenings for possible publication as conference proceedings in the Journal of Film and Video. At past conferences, special interest groups have met on an ad hoc basis. If you would like to schedule a meeting time for a new or already existing group, contact the con- ference director.
