A good one you may not have on your list is "A Question of Silence" by
dutch director Marleen Gorris, 1982. 100% feminist. Three women kill
for no apparent reason a man, who works in a magasine store. The battle
in the court is that the prosecution wants them to be considered mad
women, and their psychologist claim that they are sane. In the end, all
the women present in the court room burst out laughing, and the men
don't understand what it is all about. I've heard it is available in
video for rental through the British Film Institute. Cheers,
