RED NIGHTMARE and other 'fifties goodies are public domain material (that is, government productions that we've already paid for as taxpayers). I suspect that they are available from the National Audio Visual Service (exact name?) which also has other government material such as THE RIVER and LET THERE BE LIGHT (Major John Huston's film about an Army mental hospital that was banned from public view for more than a generation).
