Everybody knows the famous Neal Hefti "Odd Couple" theme, from both
the film and TV show. Less well-known are the Sammy Cahn lyrics
("isn't it odd, they're a couple?"). I know them only from a Mad
Movie Soundtrack compilation. Does anybody know the production
history -- were these lyrics ever intended to be used? Were they
ever used? Were they rejected? Any help would be appreciated.
