I am looking for information on the use of "extras" in films, particularly
in the sixties. While I am interested in analyses, I am most interested
in facts and figures from the industrial end of things. Does anybody know
of a good actor's handbook or industry handbook that might address
guidelines for extras--in the past and present?

Thanks in advance,
Kelly Hankin
