the question is  -- did Kubrick see all these films -- he was reported
somewhere or other to have said that he didnt look at too many films  -- or
was that someone else --
already have commented as did another reader on the plentiful quotations from
Hitchcock and some Mazurski as well -- so, are these citations deliberate
glosses -- or "snatched out of the air" a la Comte Robert De Passavant in THE
COUNTERFEITERS   in other words  filched  godforbidthethought
