If Welles HAD made a film of _No Exit_, 1962 (or thereabouts) would have
been the year, but I've never heard of it if he did. He had just
been definiteively rejected by Hollywood after _Touch of Evil_
did badly. According to James Naremore, he spent about six months of '62
making _The Trial_.
