regarding an article being written about representation of Jewish doctors in
cinema:

l. Does anyone know where to reach Neil Gabler of "HOW THE JEWS INVENTED
HOLLYWOOD".

2. Does anyone know anything about the representation of Jewish doctors in
Yiddish cinema. I seem to recall at least one film in which a mother who had
given up her son or some such plot maybe it was a Stella Dallas giving up
of daughter -- in which a Jewish doctor was involved maybe a prospective
soninlaw maybe a doctor involved at some point in the scenario it would
seem to me that there would be mroe than a few representation of Jewish
medicos for one narrative purpose or another in this body of work but im
mostly ignorant about it any specialists?

thanks hrgmd endit
