How about the wonderful blood splashing on the camera technique found in
the crashing elevator sequence of Earthquake. True camp. And of course it
happens in The Shining, and more recently in an episode of MTV's Sifl and
Olly show. Obvious these pop texts exploit the pleasure of such a gesture.
