It was actually anamorphic (1:2.35), not just spherical w/s.  When
showing the film I found that if you don't get the focus right on
the opening distributor logo, you've had it.  The rest was
impossible to focus as the camera never stayed still (plus it
looked dreadfully grainy - either a super 16mm blow job or really
fast stock, which didn't help).  The depressing content apart, how
anyone could sit through 8 reels of that without feeling somewhat
unwell defeats me...
