4th Screenwritijng Competition.-Ammerican Cinema Foundation
 
The American Cinema Foundation holds a themed Screenwriting Competition
which is open to graduate and undergraduate students at your
institution. The competition receives entries form throghout the
United States, Cananda, and Mexico.
THe American Cinema Foundation was created to nurture and reward
television and feature film projects which address fundamental
social values, support and strengthen the concepts of the common good
and the common culture and promote democratic pluralism.
All feature film and television projects begin with a script. The
American Cinema Foundation's themed Screenwriting Competition
acknowledges the reality and acts upon it, so, as an added incentive,
winners recieve cash prizes.
This year's theme is E Pluribus Unum, from many one. America's
entertainment industries represent one of the most powerful cultural
forces in our country. ACF is actively upon supporting new and
emerging members of the entertainment community who produce work that
provieds a vision of a better America.
Please post these guidelines, feel free to copy them as need, or
refer interested students to our Websites.
The American Cinema Foundation is a nonpartisan, non profit 501(c)3
organization.
 
**** Submission Guidelines****
- Full feature length scripts suitable fro either theatrical or
tielevisoin production may be submitted.
- The 4th Annual screenwriting competition theme is: E Pluribus
Unum: From Many, One.
-Each entry must include.
  (1) A completed application and relese form signed by the author(s)
  (2) A synopsis in the form of Exhibit A
  (3) An entry fee of US $30.00. This fee will be applied against
       judging and administrarive costs and will not be returned under any
        circumstances.
 (4) Two copies of the submitted screenplay.
-Submissions must be postmarkde no later than January 31, 1998.
Submiteed materials will not be returned so please od not send
originals.
