Hi all-- I'm teaching a class on American Iconizations of Beauty soon and
am wondering if there are any films, doc. and otherwise, that deal
with/interrogate Barbie and/or Ken. I know that Whoppi Goldberg did a
piece on having long blond hair in her Broadway show. Can anybody else
think of anything? And does anybody know where I might be able to pick up
an "Earing Magic Ken" (the "Gay" Ken doll?) that I don't think is still on
the market. I want to bring him in with the new "Share a Smile Becky
Wheelchair Barbie doll" (Don't get me started on THAT!)

Thanks much.
