A full time, tenure track faculty position in film/video production is open
in the Moving Image Arts Department of The College of Santa Fe. Housed in
the Garson Communications Center, one of the finest undergraduate production
facilities in the country, the Moving Image Arts Department is seeking a
filmmaker who is passionate bout her/his professional work and a dedicated
teacher. Our program provides a comprehensive education in film/video
production, screenwriting, critical studies and multi-media art. The
successful candidate will have an MFA in production and/or professional
credentials as a filmmaker. A specialization in lighting and cinematography
is very desirable, as well as the ability to teach basic production courses.
 
An attractive package of benefits including free tuition is offered by the
College to the Employee and immediate dependents.
 
The College of Santa Fe, operating within the Lasallian tradition is New
Mexico's oldest institution of higher education. The College offers a broad
range of undergraduate courses in both the traditional day program and an
evening and weekend program. The main campus in Santa Fe enrolls
approximately 900 students. The College of Santa Fe at Albuquerque enrolls
600 students.
