I wasn't going to respond to this thread, but since I just wrote a review
of "Murder at 1600" and commented on recent action movies with significant
tunnels there, I'm in tunnel-identification mode and will just note "Double
Team" (tunnels into an old Roman  hospital and tunnel-like passages in the
Colloseum) and "The Relic" (escape from the Museum of Natural History in
Chicago through abandoned tunnels) as well as the finale of "Species"
(where the tunnel is used not for escape or access but rather as a
battleground).
