Dear Aaron,

On current Japanese films, we've liked a lot. Hirokazu Kore-eda's Maborosi is
a favorite and we picked it up for distribution. Think it's the best Japanese
film we've seen these past five or six years. We've gotten tremendous reviews
for it and attendence, so there are those who agree with us. Also thought
Like Grains of Sand and Elephant Song were very good, but they have not found
distribution here. And Kurosawa's Madadayo is a good film, but also has not
shown theatrically here.
