Good news for academic job seekers in the field of film/TV/video studies
and production: the Society for Cinema Studies has decided to make its
invaluable Job List publicly available on the World Wide Web at SCREENsite.
SCREENsite is SCREEN-L's sister service on the Web, and can be accessed by
pointing one's browser to:
http://www.sa.ua.edu/SCREENsite
Specifically, SCREENsite's very useful "employment office" is available at:
http://www.sa.ua.edu/TCF/teach/employ/index.htm
The employment page includes a link to the equally useful Resume Service,
as well as the SCS Job List. The Resume Service allows those who are
actively looking for a teaching position in film studies to have their
resumes posted on SCREENsite, free of charge. The Job List's URL is:
http://www.sa.ua.edu/TCF/teach/employ/scsjob.htm
This list will be updated quarterly, in October, January, April and July.
The October listing is the largest, so drop by and start planning a career move!
