It is absolutely the case that MERRY CHRISTMAS, MR. LAWRENCE exceeds
JOHNNY MNEMONIC for Takeshi Kitano-ness, for general taste, for meaning,
for Ryuichi Sakamoto-ness, for Oshima Nagisa-ness, for the ineffable--and
I mean ineffable--and wonderful Tom Conti.
