JMB grew up in Brundidge AL, just a few minutes from my hometown.  A
local story, according to my father, relates that during a showing of
one of JMB's first films a slightly drunk member of the audience
noticed somebody sneaking up on JMB so he stood up, yelled "Look out
Johnny Mack!" and started firing a pistol at the screen.
