The 1996-97 Eastmen Scholarship Program seeks applications for the
scholarships.

American colleges and universities which offer degree programs
(BA/BS/BFA, MA/MS/MFA) in film and film production may submit no more
than two student nominees a year to this program. The nomination
process involves a portfolio review conducted by the school. Nominees
must have demonstrated academic excellence and be undergraduate
juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled in a film school'
degree program in the year to which the scholarship applies.

Eastman scholarships may not exceed $5,000 each and are paid directly
to the student's school by the Foundation. They are not to be used to
pay off previous debt but to fund ongoing current education, which may
include a production grant from the school.

The deadline for nominations is April 15, 1996.
