On behalf of a friend who teaches in an English department and is doing a
course on narrative theory from both a literary and a cinematic
perspective, can anyone recommend some readings
on APOCALYPSE NOW that would be useful within this context?

I'm assuming that he's got the literary side of things -- theory and
Conrad both -- taken care of.

Thanks in advance. Feel free to e-mail me directly.
