You could try the Directors Guild of America or you could check out the
latest edition of Michael Singer's FILM DIRECTORS:  A COMPLETE GUIDE.  It's
an excellent resource for this sort of thing (filmmakers' and/or agents'
addresses, phone numbers, etc.) and has fairly complete filmographies for
most living US directors and many non-US directors (as well as
filmogrqphies of major deceased directors--but no contact numbers for them,
of course).  I don't know if they are reachable by e-mail but they do have
an 800 phone number:  1-800-FILMBKS (345-6257).
