>This may be no help but, There is a film called "Coffin Joe's Vision Of
>Terror" in Portuguese by the Brazilian filmmaker Jose Mojica Marins. I guess

=================================
I don't have firsthand knowledge of any of this, but here's something I've
turned up--titles by Jose Mojica Marins that sound something like those in
the initial inquiry--which suggests that Marins may actually be the person
inquired about.

Jose Mojica Marins:
        ESTA NOITE ENCARNAREI NO TEU CADAVER/TONIGHT I WILL MAKE YOUR CORPSE
                TURN RED/TONIGHT I WILL PAINT IN FLESH COLOR--1966

        A MEIA NOITE LEVAREI A SUA ALMA--1966

        O ESTRANHO MUNDO DE ZE DO CAIXAO/THE STRENGE WORLD OF ZE DO CAIXAO--1968

That's all I've been able to find. Hope it's of some help.
