In regards to the enquiry about prison films, three come to mind
quickly--Brute Force a 40's film with Burt Lancaster, Hume
Cronyn, Charles Bickford, Howard Duff; a British WW II prison
film The Hill with Sean Connery, Harry Andrews, and the recent
Daniel Day-Lewis film In the Name of the Father. Hope these
help.
