Chesterfield Film Company offers a 12 month professional workshop--
Writer's Film Project. It is a opportunity to fiction, theatre, and
film writers to begin a career in screenwriting.
 
This year, up to five writers will be chosen to participate, and each
will receive a $20,000 stipend to cover his or her living expenses.
The WFP is a year-long program in Los Angeles.
 
There are no stict eligibility reguirements for the Writer's Film
Project. Fiction, theatre, and film writers may apply. There are no
age or academic requirements.
 
Tnterested writers may submit writing samples in a varety of forms.
No particular type of sample has an advantage in the application
process.
 
Each applicant must submit the following in one package :
        1) 2 copies of the completed application form.
        2) writing samples
        3) a self-addressed, stamped envelop
        4) a self addressed, stamped postcard
        5) a $39.50 application fee
 
The Application Deadline:   JUNE 1, 1995 (postmarked)
 
All finalists will be notified regarding their status by December 15,
1995.
