Continuing on the (unusual) Youssef Chahine query by Murray Pomerance

1) Ths last film of his I saw (Cannes , probably 1993) it was his wonderful=
homage-love song to Cairo, the title of which eludes me tight now
2) His latest came out in Paris last March (1995). Here is the capsule revie=
w.
(I'll be glad to translate it but I bet that all Chahinians speak French) =

L'EMIGRE.

Realisateur:=
Youseef Chahine, surnomme, pour la circonstance, Cecil B. De Nil.

(Jean-Paul Groussset in Le Canard Enchaine, March 8, 1995)=20

The joke at the very end works only in French since the Nile is "le Nil" =20
