----------------------------Original message----------------------------
An answering machine message plays a crucial role in my favorite film of
the year _The Last Seduction_. Mike leaves Brigit/Wendy a drunken message
on her answering machine, which she hears. He rushes over to her house to
erase the message before she can hear it, but it's too late. Brigit/Wendy
realizes Mike will be rushing over and she takes the opportunity to leave
him a "message" on the note pad near her phone.
