One of the realities of life and the movie business is that "he who owns
the football is captain of the team."  While one may sympathize with
the director, I saw little in the press release to indicate that he
was willing to backout of the deal -- return the money and all that.
He was willing to take the money going in, as who wouldn't with the
home of one's brother-in-law on the line.
