Hi all.

Jeremy Butler suggested I drop you a line.

My name is Nick Hobdell and I am a journalist working for a film newsletter
 published by the
Financial Times in London. I have recently set up a number of pages on the WWW
 (the URL is
http://www.ibmpcug.co.uk/~scrfin/) giving all sorts of information about UK and
 european
film-making.

But I would also like to commemorate the 100th anniversary of cinema on the
 Internet in some
way. My idea (and there is more info about this at my site) is to put together
 a page of 100
links to different sites around the world. Each link would be a page telling
 something about
the history of cinema - or some aspect of it - in that country. I am happy to
 spend time
maintaining the page but gathering that kind of infomation would be too much for
 me (I can
only do this in my spare time) and I wondered if anyone would like to help.

Please let me know, and let's try and get something off the ground. I think it
 would be fun.

Nick Hobdell

PS. Can any one join your list? If so who do I ask?
