I too am so frustrated by this I don't know what to do.  I've been
calling  900 numbers, emailing Newt, driving my friends crazy as I rant
and rave.
 
And the other morning I heard Rep. Idiot, the first witness against CPB
say, "I'm not against PBS, don't say I'm for shutting down PBS.  I just
want it to be privatised.  It should have to compete just like Cable and
Network TV."  How can a jerk be elected who has the balls (or lack of
mental power) to say that Public Broadcasting can be privatised!
 
There is a war against culture and intellectualism in this country and it
scares the shit out of me.
