    The dept. of media arts of The Univ. of Arizona seeks a
    tenure-track assistant professor to start Fall 1995.
 
    Salary: $34,500-36,500.
 
    The applicant must be an outstanding scholar who takes a critical
    approach to the study of media institutions. Areas of research:
    history of technology and emerging technologies; information
    societytheort and telecommunications; media organizations,
    management, and policy processes.
 
    Tech at the graduate & undergrad. levels (lower-divition core
    course in media history; upper-divition and M>A> level courses in
    area of specialization); develop and sustain a significant program
    of research and publication; supervise graduat teaching
    assistants; and participate full in the work of the dept..
 
    Must have earned doctorate and univ.-level teaching experence.
