regarding Randy A. Riddle's post about young filmmaker's lack of
education today, I would suggest reading any interview with Tarantino,
particulary those in more "upscale" film magazines.  He consistently
matches the professional film critics' knowledge of film history.
I get the feeling they're trying to put one past him with their references,
but he never misses.  Just an example.
