  OFFICE MEMO DRAGNET Date:10/4/94
Jajasoon wrote 10.4.94 looking for information on Dragnet.
Jajasoon: I haven't seen any criticism on this program specifically, but I
seem to remember a good article in the Grossberg et al Cultural Studies
anthology about a couple of crime novels, and the way that the sixties were
being rewritten in these from the point of view of the conservative eighties.
You might also try the book edited by Aronowitz, Sayres etc. called The
Sixties Without Apology, which contains, among other analyses of the sixties,
Fredric Jameson's article "Periodizing the 60s."
