Hello. My name is John S. Drew. I am a struggling screenwriter in New York
City who, until recently, produced my own cable access television show, The
Chronic Rift, a talk show on fantasy and science fiction. The show ran for
four years and we produced 100 episodes. We featured news, reviews and
interviews with those in the literary and moving image field. It was a great
deal of fun and well received.

Now, I'm moving into filmmaking. I've recently completed a script and am
currently talking to several people to back it. It's low, low budget science
fiction piece, shot on high 8 video. I've even got a name actor interested
in playing the lead. He's willing to do it to help out a new filmmaker and
he's interested in learning more from behind the camera. (Course, this is
going to be a lesson for me too.)

I'm looking forward to discussions here.
