The Montreal metro (on the Atwater Line) used to have an
animated piece in the mid 70s or so. When I saw it, I
always thought it was an ad for Direct Film (a one hour
photo developing house). Direct Film's corporate symbol
was a cartoon bird. In the animation piece, the bird
would "fly" along for a few seconds. There was no
mention of the store, I don't believe. I can't remember
the initials of the tansit commission, but the area code
is 514 if you want to call and try to track it down.
