There is a valuable book on women and Australian film, DON'T SHOOT,
DARLING! Women Make Movies distributes lots of independent feminist work
(mostly shorts) from Australia and Jennifer Stott is an expert on the
subject. (462 Broadway, NY, NY 10013). Tracey Moffatt is another
extraordinary Australian women director.
