Here is Natichotoches, LA quite a bit of the tourist industry is built
around the fact that the movie _Steel Magnolias_ was filmed here.
There are maps pointing out various locations used, and many of the
town's restaurants are decorated with autographed photos of the stars
dining at the facility.
 
The town's largest bank even has plaques
placed in the sidewalk outside with the name of the *star* depositors.
These names also include various writers who have lived, worked,
and, of course, banked in Natichotoches.
