ANNOUNCE : THE GRAFICS WWW SERVER (early cinema studies)

The GRAFICS ("Groupe de Recherche sur l'Avenement et la Formation des
Institutions Cinematographique et Scenique" or "Research Group on the
Beginnings and the Formation of Cinema and Theatrical Institutions),
located at University of Montreal, is pleased to announce its new WWW
server. The aim of the server is to publize our works and to serve as a
platform and a gateway for various cinema ressources, especially in the
field of Early Cinema Studies. The server is mainly in *FRENCH*, but there
is a home page in english and there is a lot of links that point to
services in english. You will find an excerpt of the home page at the end
of this message.

For now, the server is at an experimental stage, so not all the works we
have done are there, and the hypertextual structure of the documents could
possibly change.
We invite those who are interested in cinema, and especially in Early
Cinema Studies, to visit our server, hoping that it could be usefull to
some people. In addition, if some of you would like to put on the server
some interesting documents or usefull data about cinema or early cinema,
don't hesitate to contact us : we will be please to hear your propositions
and your suggestions.

GRAFICS WWW SERVER
Welcome to the _GRAFICS_ WWW server. "GRAFICS" stands for _Groupe de
Recherche sur l'Avenement et la Formation des Institutions
Cinematographique et Scenique_ (Research Group on the Begining and the
Formation of Cinematographic and Theatrical Institutions). The GRAFICS
is a research group about early cinema in Quebec, located at
University of Montreal (for info on the city, click here), and made
possible by the help of a Quebec-FCAR fellowship. For a complete
