 It seems that the repressed psycho-bitch is something of a sub-genre or
 perhaps a stock character in films from Rebecca (who can forget the evil
 Mrs. Danvers who also seemed to have been coded as sexually dysfunctional
 or lesbian) to Single White Female and the Hand That Rocks the Cradle.
