I'm not a pissed off 'grunger' but I do think that Reality Bites
succeeded in bringing back all that Gen X 70's stuff in a way that did
not take itself too seriously. For that matter who could take the plot of
the film seriously. Haaated it! But again, I did love all those
references from my childhood. Hell, I even had my own Dynamite club with
three members. I feel that some of the backlash against this film stems
from the fact that some people RAVED about it (critics). Anyone who is
20-30 should see it, if just to be reminded of stuff that is probably
best left forgotten.
