* Instead of thinking of the Huunter character a a person or as a metaphor
* for persons, why not think of her as an alegory for a certain cinema, that
* of image, music, and desire. A cinema which in the context of current
* films acts as an alternative to the masculinist, dialouge driven drivel that
* comes out of Hollywood?
 
I must say I've never seen the words "masculinist" and "dialogue driven" used
together to describe typical Hollywood fare...they seem at opposite poles,
don't you think? I would use the former to describe, say, Terminator, and the
latter for, uh, Beaches. Not much of the other in either film, really.
 
I think a film where Schwarzenegger plays a small child torn from his brother
by a cruel older woman who buys him from his mother, who makes him shave her
legs on the front porch and keeps his brother's letters from him, would be a
triumph for the industry.
