The recent comments re: Schindler's List, The Piano, and critics/reviewers
have caused me to wonder: which films would Screen-L readers deem the best of
1993? There seems to be a general consensus that the Oscars and critic awards
are bogus. I'd like to hear which film YOU (or as we say here in Texas,
Y'ALL) would say is the best picture made/screened in 1993, and why.
