Iede:  I'm not sure if the BBC accepts interns or not but you could find
out by writing the BBC at Bush House, London (that's all the address you
need).  I'm not sure what you mean about the "conditions" and "problems"
of working at the BBC.  AS far as getting a work permit, I don't think
there will be any problems if you secure an internship before you go over
there.  In a sense an internship would probably put you in the position of
a visiting student or scholar, which shouldn't be a problem at all.  In
terms of working in Britain, I think (regional accents aside) you won't
have any problems "fitting in."  London is a very cosmopolitan city.  In
fact, during the Thatcher years London has become more like New York or
any large American city.
